Schuylkill Indivisible is planning a Spring cleanup event in Shenandoah for Earth Day.
The project is being done in partnership with Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful.
Schuylkill Indivisible says the project is inspired group co-chair Rachel Keck’s daughter, Emerson, who wanted to pitch in to clean up litter.
The cleanup is schedule for April 22, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Girard Park in Shenandoah. Rain date is April 29.
People of all ages are welcome to participate, and adults may also work on the Gold Star Highway.
Limited quantities of gloves, bags and vests will be on hand. For more information, email Schuylkill.indivisible@gmail.com.
