The Schuylkill County Coalition of Historical Societies is planning to hold its annual History Fair at Fairlane Village mall next month.
This year’s event will be held on Saturday, Feb. 11, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the mall.
Historical societies from around Schuylkill County will have exhibits on display and items for sale during the event.
Historical Society Local Reads Book Club
Later this month, the Schuylkill County Historical Society will host its Local Reads Book Club at the society’s headquarters at 305 N. Centre St. in Pottsville.
The Book Club meets at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25. The book they’ll be discussing is Yuengling: A History of America’s Oldest Brewery, by Mark A. Noon.
