State Police continue to look for information on a suspected burglary at a church in Schuylkill County late last month.
According to information released Saturday night from State Police in Schuylkill Haven, the suspected break-in happened at the Christ’s United Lutheran Church in Barry Township. It’s believed someone broke into the church between the hours of 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 24 and 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 25.
Once inside, an unknown person or persons caused about $1,500 in damage to the church. And they allegedly walked off with about $1,100 in valuables, including a desktop computer, a copy of a Wells Fargo credit card, a personal check, and cash.
Anyone with information on this suspected burglary is asked to call the Haven barracks at 570-593-2000.
