Suspect ID Sought in Series of Cell Phone Store Robberies

PA Crime Stoppers has released photos of the suspect.

Police ask for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a series of robberies at cell phone stores in Schuylkill County earlier this year.

According to information from State Police in Frackville, per a report at CrimeWatchPA.com, the alleged thefts happened back on Jan. 19 at the AT&T store and the Verizon store at Plaza Drive in Rush Township.

First, the suspect shown in the photos on this post is believed to have walked into the AT&T store and walked out with 2 iPhone devices. The value of the phones is estimated at $1,700.

Following that alleged theft, the same suspect went to the Verizon store and is accused of lifting a Samsung smartwatch. The value of the watch is $254, according to police.

The suspect then fled the scene on foot.

Anyone with information on this incident of the identity of the suspect is asked to contact State Police in Frackville or Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers Toll Free at 1-800-4PA-TIPS (8477).
