Suspect ID Sought in Series of Cell Phone Store Robberies

PA Crime Stoppers has released photos of the suspect.

Police ask for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a series of robberies at cell phone stores in Schuylkill County earlier this year.

According to information from State Police in Frackville, per a report at, the alleged thefts happened back on Jan. 19 at the AT&T store and the Verizon store at Plaza Drive in Rush Township.

First, the suspect shown in the photos on this post is believed to have walked into the AT&T store and walked out with 2 iPhone devices. The value of the phones is estimated at $1,700.

Following that alleged theft, the same suspect went to the Verizon store and is accused of lifting a Samsung smartwatch. The value of the watch is $254, according to police.

The suspect then fled the scene on foot.
