A Schuylkill County woman is facing harassment chargse following what police describe as a road rage incident over the weekend.
According to information released by State Police in Schuylkill Haven, Mariah Dixon, 36, of Pottsville, says an Orwigsburg woman committed an “egregious traffic infraction” in the southbound lanes of Route 61 in North Manheim Twp. at around noon on Saturday.
Dixon allegedly followed the woman after this perceived “egregious traffic infraction” until the Orwigsburg woman stopped and got out of her vehicle.
That’s when Dixon got out of her vehicle, approached the woman and slapped her.
Dixon is facing harassment charges in District Court.
