ATM Ripped Out of Restaurant at Dirt Mall

Police seeking info on the theft.

Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a stolen ATM.

According to information from State Police in Schuylkill Haven, the cash machine was allegedly taken from Josie’s Place, a restaurant located at Renninger’s Farmers Market (affectionately known as The Dirt Mall) outside Orwigsburg in North Manheim Twp.

Just before 2 a.m. on Tuesday, police suspect someone forced their way through the main entrance doors to Josie’s Place. The thieves allegedly unbolted the machine from the floor and then took it out of the back door of the business.

The suspect or suspects made off with the ATM in an unknown direction.

If anyone has information on this incident, they’re asked to call the Haven barracks at 570-593-2000.
