The man accused of murdering another man and seriously injuring another outside of a Mahanoy City lounge back in October has been arrested.
According to the US Marshals, Santonio Malone (aka Sosa) was arrested in Memphis by that agency’s Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force.
Mahanoy City Lounge Murder Suspect Arrested in Memphis
Malone, with a listed address in Shenandoah, was a fugitive from authorities after he was identified as a suspect in a homicide that happened outside the RMusic 21 Lounge at 128 E. Centre St. in Mahanoy City.
Police believe Malone shot Juan Carlos Romero, 33, of Hazleton, to death outside that downtown business during the early morning hours of Oct. 24. Malone is also accused of shooting and seriously injuring Alorfi Bladimir Ramirez, 29, of Hazle Twp., Luzerne County.
Malone fled the scene of that shooting and hadn’t been seen since until Tuesday.
