State Police are investigating a suspected robbery in Barry Township earlier this week.
According to information out of the Schuylkill Haven barracks, the alleged theft was reported back on Thursday afternoon along Deep Creek Rd. in Barry Township.
That’s where a 36-year-old man from the Ashland area reports a motorcycle and several items with copper were stolen. The stolen items are itemized as:
- Silver and green Suzuki GSX550E motorcycle
- Copper wire
- Copper pipes
- Distribution board for breaker boxes
The Ashland man believes the alleged theft happened sometime between 2 p.m. on Dec. 1 and noon the following day.
The VIN and registration on the motorcycle are unknown, police report.
Police ask anyone with information to call the State Police barracks at Schuylkill Haven at 570-754-4600.
