A Schuylkill County man is accused of kicking a dog and punching a woman in the face.
According to State Police in Schuylkill Haven, they responded to a home along Spancake Rd. in Washington Township on the night of Oct. 8.
That’s where they say a 53-year-old woman reported that she got punched in the face by 56-year-old Brian Gerber. The woman told police that Gerber was frustrated that one of his dogs was taking food from another dog.
So, he kicked the dog, she said.
The woman tried to intervene on behalf of the kicked dog. She pushed Gerber and that’s when she says he punched her in the face.
Gerber has yet to enter a plea on a single charge of harassment/physical contact filed against him before District Judge David Rossi.
