ACLU Selling a F*** Everything T-shirt Following Brandi Levy SCOTUS Win

fuck everything t shirt

After emerging victorious in the Mahanoy Area v. BL Supreme Court case on Wednesday, the American Civil Liberties Union is celebration/capitalizing on the win.

It launched a F*** Everything T-shirt featuring Brandi Levy’s now famous 3-line Snapchat message.

The ACLU represented Levy in the case before the Supreme Court.

Mahanoy Area v. BL was argued before the justices back in late-April. On Wednesday, the Supreme Court ruled 8-1 in favor of Levy, saying that her alma mater, Mahanoy Area School District, had no right to regulate her off-campus speech – the infamous Snap.

Levy was suspended for a year from the JV cheer squad at Mahanoy Area High School, when as a sophomore, she reacted to getting told she’d have to spend a year on that JV team instead of cheering on the varsity team by firing off that profanity-laced social media message.

Even though Snapchat is supposed to be a temporary message platform, a screenshot of Levy’s message made it in front of the cheer squad’s coach who conspired with other school officials and suspended Levy from the team for her entire sophomore year.

An initial federal lawsuit against the school – claiming Levy’s First Amendment right to free speech was being violated – got the sophomore reinstated to the JV cheer team. But Mahanoy Area was determined to fight and appealed all the way to the Supreme Court.

And the school lost. Again.

Twitter Reacts to ACLU F*** Everything T-shirt

A lot of people aren’t too thrilled with ACLU’s decision to capitalize on its way via Levy and her foul-mouthed social media message.

One conservative Twitter user reminded the ACLU that religious freedom is part of the First Amendment, too. And they’re waiting for a T-shirt to celebrate the Supreme Court protecting that, too.

Spoiler: They’ll be waiting a long time for that from the typically far-left ACLU.

Former Presidential candidate Marianne Williamson was not impressed with the ACLU’s new product:

And this anti-capitalist wasn’t thrilled that ACLU is trying to get $40 for this shirt:
