LETTER TO THE EDITOR
Last week Kevin McCarthy ousted Liz Cheney from her leadership position within the Republican Party.
I have been opposed to most of the Cheney’s policies over the last few decades – the invasion of Iraq; tax cuts and loopholes for the rich; and the free trade agreements which removed livable wage blue collar manufacturing jobs to lower wage countries.
However, I admire Liz Cheney for her “country over party” position. That is the sign of true leadership.
This is all centered on the original lie that the 2020 election was fraudulent. Over 60 court cases have refuted that claim, as well as, Republican Governors in Arizona and Georgia. This lie led to the January 6th Capitol Insurrection.
The same day Liz Cheney was removed, three Republican Congressman claimed the insurrection was harmless. One from Georgia stated “it was like a normal tourist day.”
We should no longer call this an insurrection, it was terrorism. The people that stormed the Capitol are Trump-Qaeda. The candidates that support them are Trump-Qaeda Candidates.
Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, and Michael Steele need to go one step further. They must create a third party for the “Normal” conservative Republicans.
In November 2022, the third party will either defeat the Trump-Qaeda candidates, or siphon off enough voters to allow a Democrat to win.
This is not about Democrats versus Republicans. It is about Democracy versus Fascism. America must unify to defeat Trump-Qaeda.

Did many people believe Trump to be an idealogue? We always saw him more of a champion of conservative causes and beliefs, even if he didn’t wholly believe in them. Bush and Obama were definitely idealogues. However, Trump, as the antithesis of that, was more open to changing his mind or being influenced by others who didn’t necessarily have the same beliefs. Always thought that was his best quality. Unfortunately, the media spent 4 years foolishly trashing him because the media is littered with lunatic liberals and warmongers.

At this point, Turd Zimmerman should pen a letter titled “Americans unite against incompetent Biden regime and Taliban” as this counterfeit administration has done EVERYTHING wrong, on all fronts, while emboldening foreign and domestic terrorists at every turn.
