Wet Weekend Ahead for the Coal Region

We’re looking at a bright, sunny day on Friday here in the coal region. But it’s not going to last.

Some time after 10 tonight, snow will move into the area. But again, it’s not going to last.

While we might seen an inch of accumulation, it’ll be just a memory when the rain this weekend washes it away.

That Friday night snow will change to rain some time in the middle of the night before tapering off to showers in the afternoon on Saturday.

More rain is forecast for the area on Sunday, too. Up to a half-inch is expected by the end of the weekend.
