John โ€œJackโ€ H. Davis, 80, passed away Friday evening at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest.

Born in Pottsville on September 7, 1940, he was a son of the late Harold F. and Rita (Yeastedt) Davis.

He was a 1959 class graduate from Nativity BVM. Jack proudly served his country, serving in the United States Army. He was a life member of Greenwood Hill Fire Co.

Jack was a bus driver for several years for the former Capitol Bus Company.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet โ€œPatโ€ P. (Mohl) Davis and sister, Barbara Ann Wessner.

He is survived by his son, John H. Davis Jr.; granddaughter, Natasha Vawn Davis; three grandchildren, brother, George; and sister, Barbara Ann Wessner.

Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family. Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
