A Mary D man says he was robbed of nearly $100,000 in collectible coins and other currency sometime over the span of the last month.
According to information released from State Police in Frackville, Trooper Andrew Moyer is seeking the public’s help in trying to identify who may have taken the valuable property from a home along Hollow Ave. in Mary D, Schuylkill Township.
The alleged theft happened some time between Nov. 10 and Dec. 10. The victim in this incident says among those items taken from him were $80,000 in gold and silver coins, dating back to before World War II. The burglar or burglars also took about $14,000 in other US currency from the home in Mary D.
A Makita cordless circular saw was also taken.
