Benjamin L. Spencer, 82, of Pine Grove, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020 in Rosewood Center, Schuylkill Haven.

Born on September 2, 1938 in Summerville, WV, he was a son of the late Benjamin L. Sr. and Golda Cunningham Spencer.

He was a graduate of Pine Grove High School and Thaddeus Stevens Trade School. He was very talented in carpentry, brickwork, electrical and plumbing work and completed all the necessary repairs around the home.

He was a PFC in the Army during the Vietnam Era.

Benjamin worked in Maintenance at Guilford Mills, Pine Grove.

Preceding him in death were a brother Joseph Spencer and two sisters, Mary Lewars and Esther Smith.

Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Kay M. Schneck Spencer; a son, Kris K and wife Annabelle Huber of Hegins; two daughters, Kelly and husband Joe Zerbe of Orwigsburg, Mindy and husband Dean Schutte of Harrisburg; 7 grandchildren, Brandi Huber, Morgan Zerbe, Taylor Rhody, Mason Zerbe, Spencer Schutte, Leah Smith, and Brandon Schutte; 2 great grandchildren, Gwen Schutte and Callayah Williams; a sister, Barbara Natale of Delaware.

All services will be held at the convenience of the family.
