Shenandoah Police are looking for a man they believe stole a package from a porch in the borough.
On Sunday, police posted a picture of the man they’re looking to identify to their Facebook page.
While this is just one suspected porch pirate, it’s a good time to remind the public that it’s prime time for porch pirates. As more people have packages delivered to their home, these parcel pilferers are sure to be on the prowl locally once again.
And if you think you’re unlikely to be the target of a porch pirate, think again. A 2019 survey conducted on porch package thievery found that 36% of people in the US reported being a victim of this type of theft.
If anyone can identify the porch pirate pictured above, contact Shenandoah PD at 570-462-1991.

I’ve had my leg brace stolen off my porch and the insurance company would not give me another one. They are going to look awfully stupid wearing it in hell for all eternity. 😆

The term “porch pirate” truly humors and minimizes the fact that these lawbreakers are thieving, rotten scum, that have no regard for you, your property, or the law.
…i thought stealing mail is a Federal crime?
