On Friday, there’s a chance of showers and potentially severe thunderstorms for Schuylkill County. But if it’s anything like the last couple days – when the forecast has been exactly the same – not much will materialize.

So, expect another swampy humid and warm day across the coal region.

But if these storms eventually do materialize, some could produce gusty, damaging winds and downpours. Those downpours could lead to flooding in areas that often get flooded in heavy rain.

If there’s any consolation to Friday’s forecast it’s that it’s not supposed to be as hot as days earlier this week.
