Edward Schoener, 64 – Retired from Koch’s Turkey Farm

Edward J. Schoener, 64, Pottsville, formerly of Tamaqua, died Thursday evening May 21 at St. Luke’s University Hospital-Bethlehem Campus.

Born December 16, 1955, in Tamaqua, he was the son of the late Carl and Margaret Schoener.

Ed retired from Koch’s Turkey Farm, Lewistown Valley, where he worked as a truck driver.

He is survived by a daughter Elizabeth Kuzma, wife of Christopher, Dillsburg; granddaughters MaKenna and Nadalee Hein, Dillsburg; sisters Chris Reed and Ann Bilger; and several nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Schlitzer Allen Pugh has been entrusted with arrangements.
