Three baseball players from Schuylkill League schools got picked to represent Pennsylvania at the upcoming Big 26 Baseball Classic.
The Big 26 Baseball Classic pits a team of Pennsylvania high school all-stars vs. a team from Maryland. The 2019 Big 26 Baseball Classic is from July 25-29 at FNB Field, the home of the Harrisburg Senators.
Schuylkill League Players Picked for 2019 Big 26 Baseball Classic
Here are the 3 Schuylkill League players selected to represent Pennsylvania:
- Will Conroy, P, Shenandoah Valley
- Chase Herb, IF, Tr-Valley
- Zachary Chowansky, OF, North Schuylkill
Following the announcement, Chowansky took to Twitter to express his gratitude for the selection.

What is the Big 26 Baseball Classic?
The Big 26 Baseball Classic is a 3-game series this July in Harrisburg. Pennsylvania plays host for the games. And since the Big 26 game started in 2012, the Keystone State has always played a team from The Old Line State.
Players eligible for the Big 26 game must be entering their junior or senior seasons in high school. Any player eligible can try out for the state team in the Spring.
