Police Investigating Theft from Cranes

Value of stolen items nearly $5,000

Police in Schuylkill County are currently investigating a reported theft from a pair of cranes.

According to information released Thursday by State Police-Frackville, the reported theft happened at 101 Brandonville Rd. in Mahanoy Township during the overnight hours of Jan. 16-17. 

Two cranes owned by Allison Crane and Rigging, of Williamsport, were targeted.

Reported stolen are the following items: 

  • Motorola CM200D UHF radio
  • Motorola Mobile Power CBL
  • Motorola HMN3596A microphone
  • Miscellaneous hand tools
  • Keys used to operate crane functions
  • Grove crane controller
  • Fuel card

The estimated value of the stolen items is $4,762.81.

Police are asking the public for any information they may have on this reported theft. Information can be given to Trooper Gregory Monaghan at the State Police-Frackville barracks by phoning 570-874-5300.
