Police in Schuylkill County are looking for a person they believe is responsible for illegal dumping earlier this week.
According to State Police-Frackville, Troopers were dispatched to an area just north of Vulcan Hill Rd. in Mahanoy Township on Monday at about 2:30 p.m. When they arrived, police learned that someone dumped more than a dozen large black garbage bags.
The bags, police say, contained miscellaneous items, sheetrock, cardboard, buckets, plywood, and household items.
Police say whoever dumped these items fled the scene in a dark-colored Dodge pickup truck.
Anyone with information about this dumping incident is asked to call the Frackville barracks at 570-874-5300.
