More acts of porch piracy has been reported to police in Schuylkill County.
According to State Police-Frackville, the thefts happened back on Oct. 25 in Walker Township. Two homes were hit.
The first incident happened at about 1:10 p.m. back on Oct. 25 at a home along Valley Rd. in Walker Township.
According to police, an Hispanic man got out of a dark gray Honda CRV with tinted windows and approached the victim’s porch.
The man removed a UPS package from the porch.
The porch pirate’s description includes that he was wearing a black, knit cap, blue jeans, a black or dark blue jacket and gray and blue New Balance sneakers.
That pirate’s vehicle then fled the scene headed toward Tamaqua.
Anyone with information on this act of porch piracy is asked to call State Police-Frackville at 570-874-5300 and reference incident PA24-1381913.
In a separate incident, also on Oct. 25, sometime between 3-4 p.m. on Mountain Rd., a porch pirate reportedly took a FedEx package containing an Apple iPhone 15 Pro.
An investigation into this incident is ongoing, police say.
