Fur-iday Friends returns with another quartet of lovable creatures ready to call your home their fur-ever home.
All these cats and dogs – and many, many more – are available for adoption at Hillside SPCA outside Pottsville. See below for details on how to adopt these amazing animals and when you can stop by to meet them.
Let’s meet this week’s Fur-iday Friends:
Gracie
Gracie is a super cute, jet black 1-year-old. She came to Hillside as a stray.
It takes about a minute for her to become friends with you and absolutely loves all the attention you can’t avoid giving her. She craves one-on-one attention and needs a lot of playtime.
She’s spayed and up-to-date on her shots.
Marnie
Marnie is an adorable young female who came to the shelter as a stray. She’s about 4 years old.
She’s very shy and nervous about being at the shelter.
Marnie is spayed and up-to-date on her shots and is ready right now for adoption. She gets along well with other cats and would do best in a calm, quiet home with no kids.
Loki
Loki is a 2-year-old Shepherd/Lab mix. He weighs 55 pounds.
Loki is selective in befriending other dogs but is good with kids and strangers and his house-trained. He’s not good with cats.
He’s got an activity level described as moderate-to-high. Loki can be intense around other male dogs but likes girl dogs.
Luna
Luna is a 2-year-old Boston terrier/pit mix.
She’s good with dogs, strangers, and kids and can be cat tested upon request.
Luna is highly active and needs a little help with her house training. She is crate trained and walks great on a leash.
Luna goes nuts for squeaky toys.
