70 Again But, Sadly, This Won’t Last Forever

Another beautiful day in store for us all.

There truly is no safe time in March to officially declare one season has ended and another started, at least not here in the coal region.

Today, we’re likely going to experience all the splendor that is Springtime: Temps in the upper 60s or low 70s, abundant sunshine, a light breeze from time to time. It’ll be grand.

Tomorrow doesn’t look too shabby either, though not as warm.

But like all good things, it’ll come to an end and rather abruptly, too.

By early next week, we’ll be scratching and clawing to reach the low-40s here.

So, from here on out, we’re officially done declaring any season over or begun, at least not until April. That’s when we get to declare Spring lasted all of 2 weeks before jumping head-first into summer.
