Probably a Great Day to Make French Toast – Now* They’re Saying 3-5 Inches

It’s weird how people get when they hear a “big” snowstorm is coming vs. a smaller one.

That’s what happened earlier this year and is happening this week.

Earlier this year, we hear we’re getting a half-foot of snow (6-8 inches) and people rush to the store for their milk and bread. But, if you’re like us, you were dug out of that and back on the road pretty quickly after the snow ended.

So, that milk and bread run was … well, it was an experience.

Now, take earlier this week and the end of this week. We hear about getting a couple inches of snow and it really didn’t seem like too many people were out there loading up on their French toast supplies.

But it felt like the roads were worse and the “need” for that bread and milk was greater.

Are people going to regret not going to the store yesterday for their must-have supplies?

Just a couple inches of snow can cause just as much – or more – havoc on the roads as a half-foot or greater.

So, what’s the minimum amount of snow they have to say we’re getting before you run to the store for bread and milk?
