Someone Broke Into a Schuylkill County McDonald’s, Failed to Steal Money, Tried Cooking Fries, But Ate a Cinnamon Roll

Lots of McDonald’s-related news lately.

Police in Schuylkill County are looking for the person who recently broke into a McDonald's location in Rush Township.

Police in Schuylkill County are looking for the person who recently broke into a McDonald’s location in Rush Township.

According to State Police in Frackville, the incident happened early Sunday morning, April 16.

At about 2:30 a.m., police say an unknown man forced his way through a locked door of the Rush Twp. McDonald’s location.

Once inside, the suspect tried but failed to access a locked safe and locked cash register drawers.

Perhaps frustrated and definitely peckish, the suspect then stole and ate a cinnamon roll. He also attempted to cook himself some French fries while inside the store.

Police describe the suspect as:

  • White
  • Collar-length black or brown hair
  • Full beard and mustache
  • Average height
  • Stocky build
  • Tattoos on right forearm

At the time of the incident, the hungry bandit was wearing a black T-shirt with the letters DBI printed on the front. The back of the shirt read One Team, One Dream.

Anyone with information on this suspect or incident is asked to call the Frackville PSP barracks at 570-874-5300.
