Upcoming Road Work on I-81 in Schuylkill County

PennDOT announced upcoming road work in Schuylkill County, specifically Ryan Township.

The maintenance work will be carried out on Interstate 81 between Exit 124 (PA 61) and Exit 119 (Highridge Park Road).

PennDOT Maintenance Forces will be conducting crack sealing operations.

The road work is scheduled to begin on April 10 and is expected to be completed by April 14.

During this period, there will be daytime lane restrictions in effect from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Motorists traveling through the area should be prepared for possible delays and are advised to exercise caution when driving near the work zone.
