PennDOT announced it will be working on the following road work projects this week in Schuylkill County:

Blythe, New Castle, and Butler Twps. – Route 61

• Between: St. Clair Borough and Ashland Borough
• Type of work: Pothole Patching
• Work being done by: PennDOT Maintenance Forces
• Type of restriction: Daytime
• Restriction: Lane restriction with flagging.
• Dates: Jan. 30 – Feb. 3
• Restrictions in effect (time of day): 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• Will rain cause delays? No

West Mahanoy, Mahanoy, and Ryan Twps. – Route 54

• Between: Gilberton Borough and Barnesville
• Type of work: Crack Sealing
• Work being done by: PennDOT Maintenance Forces
• Type of restriction: Daytime
• Restriction: Lane restriction with flagging.
• Dates: Jan. 30 – Feb. 3
• Restrictions in effect (time of day): 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.
• Will rain cause delays? No
