Republicans from Schuylkill County enjoyed a great night watching election returns coming in.
In 4 races for Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Schuylkill County GOP candidates won every single one of them. And quite handily, too.
Joanne Stehr (107th), Dane Watro (116th), Tim Twardzik (123rd), and Jamie Barton (124th) each won their races of Democrat opponents for a seat in the state House of Representatives.
And Dan Meuser easily won his race for US House of Representatives in Pennsylvania’s 9th District, which includes all of Schuylkill County.
Oz and Mastriano Decked in Election Bids
But what a (BLANK) show it was for the GOP on the statewide level.
Both Doug Mastriano, the candidate for Governor, and Mehmet Oz, the Senate candidate from the Republican Party, lost their races.
Mastriano was crushed by Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro. Shapiro will replace Tom Wolf. Their administration was wholly responsible for Pennsylvania’s sickening response to the COVID pandemic.
Yet, it seems voters didn’t care about that when they voted in the 2022 midterms. Either that or they are signaling that they want more heavy-handed government interference in their lives.
At last check, Mastriano trailed Shapiro in statewide vote totals by more than 600,000 votes. Shapiro got 700,000 more mail-in votes than Mastriano even though Mastriano appears to have won the votes cast on Election Day.
In Schuylkill County, Mastriano defeated Shapiro by more than 11,000 votes.
Oz won Schuylkill County by more than 17,000 votes but also is coming up short against Fetterman statewide.
At last check (2:15 a.m.), Fetterman held a more than 100,000-vote lead over Oz.

174-9 on endorsed candidates…hardly irrelevant.
…but more importantly, how, how, how in the world could this convict look-alike, bag of rocks prototype Fatterman get installed as a SENATOR???
…a poor record, poor policy stooge of the Left that couldn’t cobble together 6 words to articulate anything relevant about a successful path forward for Pennsylvania.
If you voted for or supported Fatterman, you will get what you asked for…another Der Komissar Wulf, only worse.

PA voters elected Fetterman… Rejected Trump’s endorsement of a charlatan..we’ll be OK…Shapiro clobbered Trump acolyte, Mastriano…. Trump in those 2 races… Very relevant… he helped them lose…

Fetterman won’t last 6 years. The guy is clearly unfit for office due to his not so robust health. As for Shapiro, not surprised he won. Yep, one Liberal Democratic hack in Harrisburg is being replaced by another one.
