Pottsville Firefighters Make Quick Work of Incident Friday Afternoon

Firefighters in Pottsville made quick work of an incident Friday afternoon in the city’s Yorkville section.

At around 4 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to 1600 W. Market St. Smoke was seen coming from the second story of the brick building on the corner.

On the first floor is a hemp/CBD retailer.

By the time we arrived just a short time later, officials declared the situation under control.

No word yet on a cause to the fire that started this afternoon in Pottsville.
