Schuylkill County Woman Says Someone Stole Her Rolex Watch; More Suspicious Activity in Lake Wynonah

A Schuylkill County woman says someone stole her Rolex watch and a diamond engagement ring.

State Police in Schuylkill Haven are reporting they heard from a 74-year-old woman from Grist Mill Rd., West Brunswick Twp, back at the end of September. She said that someone took a diamond engagement ring worth nearly $10,000 and a Rolex watch worth about $34,000.

Police say they’re continuing to investigate the claim.

Police are also reporting more suspicious behavior in Lake Wynonah.

We recently reported on a string of burglaries and attempted burglaries along Wynonah Dr. inside the gated community. (READ: Wallet, Keys, Marlboro Reds Among Items Stolen During Rash of Burglaries at Lake Wynonah)

Now, police are saying homeowners on Yellow Pine Dr. are reporting similar behavior.

Back on Oct. 20, homeowners at one address said someone entered their home through an unlocked door off the side porch. They say nothing was stolen.

Another homeowner, on the same date, reported that they had surveillance video showing a man lifting up front door mats and looking through the windows of homes on Yellow Pine.
