State Police have identified a suspect in the deadly Mahanoy City lounge shooting on Sunday morning.
An arrest warrant has been issued for 36-year-old Santonio Pierre Malone.
Malone is suspected of shooting Juan Carlos Romero, 33, of Hazleton, to death outside the Rmusic 21 Lounge on E. Centre St. in Mahanoy City just before 3 a.m. Sunday. Malone also allegedly shot Alorfi Bladimir Ramirez, 29, of Hazle Twp. Ramirez is in serious condition at Reading Hospital.

Those two men were shot after allegedly being denied entrance to the lounge bar. A fight broke out and Malone is suspected of shooting Romero on E. Centre St. and Ramirez, who was kneeling near his vehicle.
Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Malone. Anyone with information is told to call the PSP-Frackville barracks at 570-874-5300.
