National Weather Service issued a Wind Advisory in effect for Schuylkill County from 1 p.m. Monday until 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Forecasters believe high winds will follow the early morning rain on Monday and persist into Tuesday.
Sustained winds through the day Monday and into Tuesday will reach 15-25 mph. Gusts could get as high as 40-50 mph.
Winds will be strong enough to blow around any unsecured objects, like your parking space chairs and garbage cans. It could also snap some tree limbs that can cause travel hazards and potential power outages.
In addition to Schuylkill County, the Wind Advisory is in effect for much of New England, nearly all of Pennsylvania and all of New Jersey and northern Delaware.
