A New Ringgold man says he fended off an attack from a person who showed up in the driveway at his East Brunswick Twp. house on Feb. 10 looking for another man named Hector.
When the assailant didn’t get the answer on Hector’s whereabouts that he was looking for, he allegedly struck the New Ringgold man, 64, with a “pipe-like object” on the leg.
State Police in Frackville say that after the New Ringgold man got hit, he went back to his house and got a gun. He came out to confront his attacker. The man fired a shot into a nearby embankment in an attempt to scare away his attacker. That apparently worked as the unknown assailant got in his car and fled the scene on Old State Rd.
Police are describing the attacker as a 5-11 Hispanic man. He wore a blue, surgical face mask during the attack along with a “baseball” cap. According to the police information, he’s driving a dark sedan, either a Honda or Toyota. There’s apparently a “red and green symbol” on the side of the vehicle.
If you have any information about this incident or assailant, you’re asked to contact PSP-Frackville at 570-874-5300.

Hector? I haven’t seen Hector since he was a pup!
(If this doesn’t make any sense to you, all I can say is that you must be very young!)
