Last week, Pennsylvania State Police released information about a pair of investigations currently underway in Schuylkill County involving assaults on children.
Details are minimal at this point, however.
In one incident, reported on Nov. 18, State Police in Schuylkill Haven say they’re looking into a report of a 30-year-old Hegins man who allegedly assaulted a 2-year-old girl. Police say the incident was reported on E. Main St. in Hegins Township.
No other details have been released and no charges have been filed, according to a search of District court records.
In another report, this from Spring Glen, Hubley Township, it’s alleged that a 9-year-old boy was the victim of possibly repeated indecent assault.
The assaults allegedly happened from late-April through mid-November of this year, according to State Police information.
Police are not saying who is suspected of this abuse. No charges have been filed in this case, either, according to a court records search.
