Mahanoy City Police Searching for Suspects in Armed Home Invasion and Robbery

Police say 3 armed people entered a home in that neighborhood and assaulted a woman inside and a man outside the residence.

The suspects then dashed from the scene, heading west toward railroad tracks.

Mahanoy City PD says it’s investigating several leads Sunday night but is asking the public for help in identifying the suspects or to report any suspicious activity in that area.

They released 3 different home surveillance camera videos:

In the first video, a masked suspect is seen pointing some type of gun at something. (If the video isn’t showing on this post, view it on the Mahanoy City Facebook page here.)

The second video shows each of the suspects entering the home by running toward it. (If the video isn’t showing on this post, view it on the Mahanoy City Facebook page here.)

The third video shows all 3 suspects exiting the home they just invaded, with one of them clearly armed. (If the video isn’t showing on this post, view it on the Mahanoy City Facebook page here.)

Mahanoy City PD claims this incident is “isolated” and the public is not in danger. However, if you have information on this home invasion and robbery, you’re asked to call 570-773-2310 or 570-773-2313.
