Sports radio hosts constantly lose their cool.
It’s part of the bit. Especially sports radio hosts in Philly.
Mike Missanelli at 97.5-FM takes this as his personal mission. He hosts The Mike Missanelli Show, which also appears on NBC Sports-Philadelphia.
Missanelli has been known to fight with producers and even other hosts.
As the drive time host, he likes to fire up his callers.
Philly Sports Radio Host Missanelli Takes “Vacation” Time After Argument Over Central Park Karen
But on Tuesday it was Missanelli who got fired up, but it wasn’t about sports.
He, show producer Tyrone Johnson, and updates reporter Natalie Egenolf were discussing the Central Park Karen incident that gained attention earlier this week.
Missanelli disagreed with the other two who believed the Karen in that viral video was racist, or at least was at that moment.
Check out the tweet below to see the host get a little frustrated and his reaction:
This show is so healthy and normal https://t.co/HvM3vTwil0

When Johnson and Egenolf tried explaining “another side” to the story, Missanelli disagreed and said, “I just don’t think there’s another side of it.” Then he ripped off his headset and threw it in the studio.
After demonstrating how he creates a toxic environment, Missanelli claims now that he’s fallen into some vacation time. Sounds more like he had to go see the manager himself.
Just texted with Missanelli, who’s off the air today— he said he’s off today and will be for the rest of the week. Has extensive vacation and won’t use it when sports return. Didn’t say whether these days off had been planned.

I’ve translated it for those who are hearing impaired:
#UpdateFromKyleScott: Just texted with Bitchanelli, who’s off the air today— he said he’s off today and will be for the rest of the week. @BeasleyMedia suspended him for acting like a tough guy with women. Didn’t say what number strike this was for @MikeMiss975

If you think something should be done:
RT and Email to Let @NBCSPhilly and @FOX29philly know that Anger Management @MikeMiss975 shouldn't be on their airwaves anymore. Any dude that thinks they can intimidate women at work shouldn't be in the Philly Media fox29.programming@foxtv.com
