🤣 Of All the Crazy Things Said During the Shawn Christy Trial, This is the Craziest

Shawn Christy’s fate is in the jury’s hands Tuesday.

They’re deciding whether he’s guilty of threatening to kill President Donald Trump and a Northumberland County District Attorney.

On Monday, things got a little heated in the courtroom and some crazy things were said, according to a report from WNEP-TV.

But none may be crazier than what the PROSECUTOR said.

Assistant US Attorney Francis Sempa says, “I’m not going to spend any more time on Mr. Christy’s and his parents’ beliefs about corruption in Schuylkill County. There’s no credible evidence for that.”

Repeating for the people in the back, he said, “I’m not going to spend any more time on Mr. Christy’s and his parents’ beliefs about corruption in Schuylkill County. There’s no credible evidence for that.”

To the attorney’s credit, he’s trying to win a case here. And he’s probably referencing Christy’s claim that a video showing a fight between him and the mayor of McAdoo was doctored by local police.

But this blanket statement had us ROFL’ing and LOL’ing for a while.
