Now that Pottsville Area has been crowned Schuylkill League volleyball champion, it’s time for the District XI playoffs as the road to the state championship begins.
Here’s a look at the District XI volleyball playoff schedule and brackets:
District XI Girls Volleyball Tournaments
Twelve Schuylkill League teams have qualified for District XI volleyball tournaments across five classes. Two local teams have earned top seeds in their class. The action gets underway Tuesday.
Class 1A

Class 1A is a four-team field that starts at the semifinal round, and half of it comes from the Schuylkill League.
#2 Marian Catholic and #3 Nativity BVM will meet in an all-Schuylkill League semifinal on Monday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. at Martz Hall.
In the other semifinal, top-seeded Bethlehem Christian takes on #4 Salem Christian on Monday, Nov. 2 at 5:30 p.m. at Lehighton.
The District XI Class 1A championship is set for Nov. 4.

Schuylkill League runner-up Tri-Valley has earned the top seed in Class 2A and a bye into the semifinals.
Two more league teams square off in the only first round match on Tuesday, when #4 Shenandoah Valley hosts #5 Williams Valley at 6 p.m. The winner gets the Bulldogs on Monday, Nov. 2 at 5:30 p.m. at Minersville.
Schuylkill Haven Area is the 3 seed and also has a bye. The Hurricanes will face #2 Lincoln Leadership Academy in the other semifinal at Martz Hall.
The District XI Class 2A championship is set for Nov. 4.

#3 Mahanoy Area will host #6 Tamaqua Area in an all-Schuylkill League first round match on Tuesday at 6 p.m. The winner moves on to face #2 Pine Grove Area in the semifinals on Thursday at Martz Hall.
Pine Grove Area, a Schuylkill League semifinalist, earned the 2 seed and a bye into the semifinals.
Top-seeded Allentown Central Catholic awaits the winner of #4 Pen Argyl and #5 Executive Education Academy, who meet Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Pen Argyl. That semifinal is set for Thursday at Catasauqua.
The District XI Class 3A championship is set for Nov. 3.

Panther Valley earned the 2 seed in Class 4A and will host #7 Saucon Valley in a quarterfinal match on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
Blue Mountain is the 5 seed and travels to #4 Notre Dame-Green Pond on Tuesday at 6 p.m. The winner of that match will face the winner of #1 Bethlehem Catholic and #8 Jim Thorpe in Thursday’s semifinals.
In the other Class 4A quarterfinal, #3 Northwestern Lehigh hosts #6 Lehighton on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
The District XI Class 4A championship is set for Nov. 4.

After capturing the Schuylkill League title, Pottsville Area has the top seed in Class 5A. The Lady Tide will face #4 Pocono Mountain East in the semifinals on Monday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. at Minersville.
#2 Southern Lehigh and #3 Pleasant Valley meet in the other semifinal at the same time at Lehighton.
The District XI Class 5A championship is set for Nov. 4.
