Authorities in Schuykill County say they seized large quantities of fentanyl and methamphetamine following the execution of a search warrant on a home on Pottsville’s East Side Tuesday.
The search was conducted at 409 E. Norwegian St. in the city on Tuesday by members of the Schuylkill County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force, the State Police Troop L Vice/Narcotics Unit, and Pottsville Police.
An investigation into the home and its resident – identified as 34-year-old Ashley Licona – began over the summer, authorities say.
During the search, authorities say they seized 454 grams of methamphetamine, with an estimated street value of $22,700, and 25 grams of fentanyl ($12,500).
Licona was taken into custody and charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
She was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker and bail was set at $100,000. Licona is being held at Schuylkill County Prison.
