A Schuylkill County man exposed himself and fondled his genitals while a McDonald’s employee handed him a drink at the drive-thru window, State Police say.
Charles Fehr, 26, of Pine Grove, faces charges of indecent exposure, open lewdness and disorderly conduct in connection with the Aug. 24, 2025, incident at the McDonald’s in Pine Grove Township. Charges were filed last week in District Court.
Troopers were dispatched to the restaurant around 10:30 p.m. that night for a reported indecent exposure, police say.
The shift manager told police that one of her employees reported that while she was handing a drink out the drive-thru window to a customer, she saw the man fondling his exposed genitals. They also told police that a second employee reported seeing a picture of what she believed was a penis on the man’s phone when she delivered his food.
Fehr, they said, was a regular customer at the restaurant and that employees recognized both him and his vehicle. She identified him to police by name.
The employee at the drive-thru window told police she approached the window to fill an order and saw Fehr looking down. She then saw him fondling his exposed genitals. She said Fehr looked up and she handed him the drink he had ordered, then told him to pull into a parking spot to wait for his food, police say.
The second employee told police she was the one who delivered the food to Fehr’s vehicle in the parking lot. As she walked up to the vehicle, she saw an image on his cell phone that she believed was a penis. She said that when she reached the driver’s side door, he swiped the image off the screen, police say.
Troopers later followed up at Fehr’s residence. He acknowledged to police that he had been at the McDonald’s earlier that night and had gone through the drive-thru, but denied the allegations.
Fehr is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Oct. 22 before Magisterial District Judge Christian Lengel.
