North Schuylkill outlasted seven other teams on Saturday to take the title in its own Invitational Tournament.
The Lady Spartans took down Shenandoah Valley, 25-22, in the Championship round, but to get there, they had to rally from a 10-1 deficit to get by Schuylkill Haven Area, coming out on top, 25-22.
The Lady Devils defeated Williams Valley, 25-20, in the other semifinal match.
Tournament results: First place – North Schuylkill; Second place – Shenandoah Valley; Third place – Williams Valley
The Lady Vikings were 6-0 in pool play. North Schuylkill was 5-1 and Shenandoah Valley finished 4-2. Other teams competing in the North Schuylkill Invitational included Weatherly Area, Palmerton Area, Executive Education Academy, and Shamokin Area.

Tide Tops Pleasant Valley in 5 Sets
Ciera Kline had 19 digs while Ava Schwartz had 10 digs and 13 kills for the Lady Tide in their non-league victory over Pleasant Valley Saturday.
Megan Yost added 13 digs and 2 blocks with 45 assists in the win.

Panthers Sweep Nativity
Jaelynn Browdy had 10 kills, 7 digs, and served up 4 aces for the Panthers in a straight-set victory over Nativity on Saturday. Jessica Hackash added 6 kills and 2 digs while Sophia Patton had 6 kills.
For Nativity, Amara Miller had 17 digs and Finley McNamara contributed 7 kills.
