A Schuylkill County man is reporting that someone made off with his Mercedes Benz S-class sedan, some cash, and container of his cashews over the weekend.
State Police say the theft was reported to them on Sunday and likely happened sometime shortly after midnight and 9 a.m. Sunday along Morea Rd. in Mahanoy Township.
The victim – an 89-year-old man – reported that his black 2009 Mercedes Benz S-class was taken from his garage during that time. The suspect(s) also made off with $55 in cash, a plumber’s torch with a yellow gas tank, a first-generation iPad, and a plastic container of cashews.
Anyone with information on this reported burglary is asked to phone State Police at 570-874-5300.
