Police in Ashland are currently investigating the shooting of a dog.
According to Police Chief Ger Daley, at about 8:15 p.m. Sunday, an unknown person shot a 3-year-old shepherd/husky mix in its yard in the 1100 block of Market St. in the borough.
The dog was rushed to Hershey Animal Emergency Center for surgery.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to phone Daley at 570-462-1991.
