Police in Schuylkill County are investigating the reported theft of copper wire.
According to State Police-Frackville, Troopers were dispatched to Industrial Park Rd. in Delano Township late last week for the report of a theft.
Haugland Energy told police that various gauges of bare copper wire was stolen from a large tool container at the rear of the property. About 800 feet of copper wire was stolen, they said, weighing about 400 pounds.
A Milwaukee M18 band saw was also reported stolen from the same container. The vitim said this theft happened sometime between Dec. 24-27.
The estimated value of the stolen items is $1,360 for the copper wire and $227 for the band saw.
