DUI patrols will be increasing in mid-September in at least one part of Schuylkill County.
According to State Police-Frackville, Troopers from that barracks will be increasing its DUI patrols in September as a means of cracking down on driving under the influence.
Police say they’ll be stepping up their efforts to nab potential DUI drivers between Sept. 9-23.
A sobriety checkpoint will be one specific initiative to do so. Increased patrols looking for intoxicated drivers, too.
Police say that thousands of people across Pennsylvania are injured or killed due to an intoxicated driver being on the road.
