Police in Schuylkill County say someone swiped more than $250 worth of infant formula from a grocery store.
Accoding to a report from State Police-Schuylkill Haven, the incident at the Boyer’s Food Market along Lovers Lane in Pine Grove Township happened at about 1:30 p.m. on March 27.
The suspect, who isn’t named by police, stole 9 unites of Enfamil infant formula along with a bookbag and left the grocery store without paying.
Whoever took the formula then got in their car and fled the scene.
However, a witness was able to get the license plate number on the suspect’s vehicle and reported it to police.
That vehicle and the suspect were located, police say.
Values of the allegedly stolen infant formula ranged in value from $19.69 to $37.99. The backpack is valued at $10.
