Police Looking for Person Who Shot at Wind Turbines in Schuylkill County

State Police in Frackville are looking for someone with a bit of a literal Don Quixote complex.

Earlier this week, on March 18, police responded to a report from Avangrid Renewables about damage to a pair of wind turbines near Raven Run Rd. and Ringtown Blvd. in Union Township. 

Police say the two wind turbines were intentionally shot with a gun. 

Perhaps the perpetrator believed the wind turbines were giants, too? 

Anyone with information about this incident is being asked to phone the State Police-Frackville barracks at 570-874-5300.
