Quick Response Limits Damage of House Fire in Minersville

Firefighters made quick work of a call at a home along North St. in Minersville on Monday night.

Crews were called to the scene of 422 North St. in the borough at a little after 7 p.m. for a reported house fire. Firefighters from Minersville, Pottsville, and Schuylkill Haven were among those on the scene.

A neighbor tells The Canary she saw dark smoke coming from the front windows on the second floor. She captured firefighters gaining access to the second floor in this video:
