Nearly 900 PPL Electric customers in Pine Grove Twp. remain without power Sunday night and have been in the dark nearly all day.
This is the result of a strong wind event that impacted Schuylkill County to end the weekend.
Countwide, there are still more than 1,200 PPL Electric customers without power on Sunday night (as of 11:30 p.m.).
In total, there are more than 17,000 PPL customers without electricity at this time. Throughout the day on Sunday, more than 2,300 PPL customers were without power here in Schuylkill County.
